A young girl took to running amidst the rows of poppies
With soft grass holding white crosses.
It always makes me think moment’s like these
They’re memories sewn into the earth

The cemetery’s are clean, quiet and serine
Not like the way soldiers died in 1915.
Young people every day come to sit and pray
